I. The ROLE program begins with filling in a detailed written questionnaire and taking 5 ml of blood for laboratory testing.
The clinic lab analyses the blood sample using the ELISA method for the presence of G-class immune globulins (IgG) to 111 of the most common food products (US-made panels with food extracts). The analysis reveals the amount of IgG antibodies responsible for latent food intolerance (delayed allergy for food products). Then the results will be processed by special laboratory software and delivered to the consulting physician for consideration.
II. The physician will create your individual “food portrait” on the basis of the results, the questionnaire and detailed interview. The portrait is the list of the food products that you may eat or should avoid. If necessary the physician may recommend additional analysis, examination and consultations with specialists (gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, endoscopist, haematologist, etc.)
The so-called “food portrait” consists of two lists: red and green. The Red List contains the products to be excluded from your diet. The Green List covers your diet at the first stage of the program. During the interview you will learn how to correctly arrange your individual food and beverage consumption, combine the products, monitor your physical condition and evaluate the changes.
You will also receive written instructions on how to eat correctly and obtain results in the first weeks of the program.
You will be able to order a personal menu of the recommended food products.
Our nutrition consultant will help you to change your cooking habits and methods, teach how to choose products correctly and show recommended samples and brands.
III. After 12–15 weeks when you have felt significant changes in your overall condition and immune system, if necessary and subject to your approval the second test will be held. The test will help to evaluate the changes of your reactions to the food products, define your reaction to your new diet and give further recommendations. If the recommendations are successfully fulfilled, each further program will have fewer restrictions than the previous one.
IV. Usually a program covers one year and includes two or three tests depending on the patient’s condition and will.
During the whole course of the program our consultant physician will be available to answer your questions and help with recommendations on your way to individual healthy nutrition.
Unlike many statistically-average-person-oriented diets the ROLE program is not simply a diet but an individual nutrition program designed and valid for you only! NB! The recommendations may not be acceptable for other members of your family!
