A new type of clinic, the preventive medicine clinic ROLE is located in a beautiful modern office building on Ahtri Street, near the sea gates of Tallinn.
The clinic was named after the two physicians, founders of the clinic – Dr. Marina Rosenstein and Professor Adik Levin, The name consists of the first letters of their surnames: RO-LE.
Marina Rosenstein, a Tallinn physician, took an extended training course in the Moscow Clinic of a famous Anatoly Volkov. Driven by his ideas and results, Dr. Rosenstein invited Professor Adik Levin, a famous supporter of humanitarian medic methods, to cooperate and organise a clinic in Tallinn.
The clinic was opened in November 2004 and then consisted of four physicians: Anna Potapova, Dzidra Maesalu, Adik Levin and Marina Rosenstein.
The first success drew the attention of new patients including many medics, professional athletes, prominent politicians and other people, famous in Estonia. About two years the clinic was developing and functioning almost without commercial advertising. During the period we taught several consulting physicians of different medical fields and a diet adviser, who also knows the program rules.
Since 2006 we have been carrying out immunological tests in our own laboratory with modern equipment.
The clinic is developing, a lot of statistical and scientific materials have been accumulated. The clinic has established reliable links with leading specialists in different fields of medicine, and since April 2007 the following specialists have also worked in our clinic: pulmonologist/allergist, gastroenterologist, endocrinologist, neurologist, paediatricians, orthopaedist, osteopath, psychotherapist, speech therapist.
